Hillbilly’s in a Haunted House: Nation singers Husky and Lansing invest a day in an old mansion, become engaged with an espionage ring. Here’s a Lame comedy with an older, exhausted cast; Remorseful to affirm, Rathbone’s last film. Cast includes Ferlin Husky, Joi Lansing, Don Bowman, John Carradine, Merle Haggard, and Sonny James. (88 minutes, 1967)

The Sinister Urge: Devoted cops Duncan and Moore set out to bash the “smut image racket,” which is run by a brassy blonde who inscribes with a 4-foot quill pencil. One of Wood’s least known works illustrates with complete conviction how photographs of fat ladies in their underwear are the principal cause of adolescent delinquency. Cast includes Kenne Duncan, Duke Moore, Carl Anthony, Jean Fontaine, Dino Fantini, and Jeanne Willardson. (75 minutes, 1960)

About Last Night: This movie deals with the classic relationship issues of a young man trying to start a real relationship. As always, it is his trouble with commitment that is the wrench in the relationship. Can this couple move from the singles scene and become a loving couple? Rob Lowe, Demi Moore, and James Belushi, are the key players in this film. (1986 Drama)

The General’s Daughter: This is a complex murder mystery starring John Travolta and James Woods. The daughter of a highly decorated General has been murdered. Solving the crime will lead some unsavory discoveries.

No Mercy: Chicago cop Gere storms into Louisiana Bayou nation desiring the slaughterer of his partner, falls for Cajun beauty Basinger who’s been “sold” to the kingpin culprit of the town. Even meaningless melodramas have to make sense, a minimum of on their own terms; this one’s pretty absurd. Cast includes Richard Gere, Kim Basinger, Jeroen Krabbe, George Dzundza, Gary Basaraba, William Atherton, and Ray Sharkey. (105 minutes, 1986)

Aces High: Aces High is a British war film that deals with WWI. There are exiting dogfights with WWI planes. We follow a pilot’s view of this war as he is lead by a disheartened squad leader. Malcolm McDowell, Christopher Plummer, Simon Ward, and Peter Firth star. (1976 Military)

Talladega Nights: The Battle o Ricky Bobby: This is a crazy comedy with NASCAR racing as its platform. Ricky Bobby has become one of the best drivers in NASCAR. When an accident puts him out of action, he loses his nerve for racing. With nothing but racing in his life, Ricky Bobby must find a way to overcome his fear, and return to his championship form.
